Bengaluru, Jan. 29 -- In a move underscoring growing concerns over hiring practices in the IT sector, the Labour and Employment Ministry has officially taken note of a complaint against Wipro Limited over prolonged onboarding delays affecting fresh graduates.

The Ministry has referred the matter to the Principal Secretary of the Karnataka Labour Department for review and appropriate action, formally bringing the issue under the state government's jurisdiction.

The complaint, filed by the Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES), concerns more than 250 young professionals who received Letters of Intent and completed all background verifications, but have been kept waiting for months without joining, rejection, or clarity.
