New Delhi, April 17 -- Continuing with the green initiatives towards building a clean and pollution-free Delhi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday flagged- off 200 new electric buses from the transport corporation's depot at East Vinod Nagar.

Interstate E- bus service between Delhi-Rohtak was also inaugurated on the occasion, while the Madanpur Khadar bus terminal was dedicated to the public.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Gupta said electric mobility is being rapidly promoted by her government as par of the ongoing efforts to make Delhi pollution-free. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country and the national capital are continuously moving towards new heights of development, she added.
