New Delhi, March 2 -- Amid the West Asia crisis triggered by military action by the United States and Israel against Iran, a large number of flights to and over the region remained cancelled on Monday.
IndiGo cancelled 162 flights on Monday and has announced the cancellation of 47 flights for Tuesday as well.
In a post on social media platforms, the airline stated that in view of the prevailing situation, the temporary suspension of select international flights passing through parts of West Asia has been extended.
Passengers holding tickets booked on or before February 28 can now avail of free cancellation or rescheduling for travel up to March 7. Earlier, this facility was available for travel up to March 5.
