Shimla, Jan. 21 -- Weather conditions in Himachal Pradesh are expected to change from midnight with the impact of a fresh western disturbance, ending a prolonged dry phase.
The (IMD) has forecast rain and snowfall activity over the coming days and issued an orange alert for Friday.
IMD observations show that minimum temperatures remained below normal in the foothills and plains, while the higher reaches recorded a slight improvement. Severe cold wave conditions prevailed at isolated places.
