Ranchi, Feb. 16 -- The weather pattern in Jharkhand is gradually changing, with daytime temperatures rising above normal levels in several parts of the state by mid-February.
According to the latest report issued by the Ranchi Meteorological Centre of the India Meteorological Department, no rainfall was recorded anywhere in the state during the past 24 hours.
The impact of rising heat is being felt during the day, while mild cold conditions persist at night. The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at Chaibasa at 32.4degC. Daltonganj reported 31.4degC, while Jamshedpur and Bokaro Thermal recorded 31.1degC each.
