Chandigarh, Sept. 24 -- Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema on Saturday said the BJP is trying to derail the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab through the Governor and alleged that the BJP fears the growing popularity of the AAP in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.
Cheema said it was condemnable that the Punjab Governor had sought details of legislative business to be conducted during the proposed Assembly session on September 27. He said the Governor was constantly interfering in the work of the Punjab government and not allowing an elected AAP government to work freely.
