Gorakhpur, Feb. 16 -- A one-day seminar on environmental challenges and sustainable development will be held on Tuesday at Mahayogi Gorakhnath University, jointly organised by the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board.

Ramon Magsaysay Award-winning environmentalist Rajendra Singh, widely known as India's "Waterman," will attend the event as the chief guest.

The seminar, titled "Environmental Challenges with Development: Sustainable Growth through Collective Efforts," will begin at 10 am in the university auditorium. It will bring together experts, academicians, and government officials to deliberate on key issues related to environmental protection, pollution control, waste management, and sustainable development.
