New Delhi, Jan. 30 -- Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva has welcomed the disciplinary action taken by Water Minister Parvesh Verma, who ordered the suspension of three Zonal Revenue Officers of Delhi Jal Board following surprise checks conducted by him after receiving complaints.
Sachdeva condemned AAP state convener Saurabh Bharadwaj for alleging that during the previous AAP government's tenure their ministers had been stripped of powers to take such actions. The BJP leader maintained that service rules in force at present are the same as it existed during the previous Arvind Kejriwal government.
