Chandigarh, April 13 -- Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Monday expressed his support for the recent amendments to the sacrilege law aimed at introducing stricter penalties. However, while welcoming the legislative move, Warring challenged the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government to establish a definitive deadline for the conviction and punishment of those responsible for acts of sacrilege, suggesting that legal changes alone are insufficient without political will.
