Kottayam, Feb. 28 -- The proposed visit of Vice-President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan to Mannam Samadhi in Perunna has been removed from his schedule amid reports that the Nair Service Society (NSS) allegedly denied receiving any formal request seeking permission for the floral tribute.

According to sources associated with the NSS, no official communication had been received regarding the Vice-President's plan to pay homage at the memorial of Mannathu Padmanabha Pillai, the founder and guiding spirit of the organisation.
