Visakhapatnam, March 21 -- The Waltair Division of the East Coast Railway on Saturday initiated a series of measures to manage increased passenger traffic and ensure safety and comfort during the summer season.
Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Bohra chaired a review meeting with officials and directed the implementation of comprehensive arrangements across major stations in the division.
Key measures include ensuring adequate supply of packaged and potable drinking water at stations, with special focus on major hubs such as Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Duvvada, Rayagada, Koraput and Jagdalpur.
