Dharamshala, Feb. 11 -- Residents of Bhanala and Bodusarna panchayats in Shahpur assembly constituency have expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu after a new footbridge connecting the two villages was constructed following their appeal through a video call.

The newly built footbridge, completed at a cost of Rs 10 lakh, was inspected on Wednesday by Deputy Chief Whip of the government in the Assembly Kewal Singh Pathania.

The previous bridge had been completely damaged during heavy monsoon rains, disrupting connectivity between the two panchayats and causing severe inconvenience to nearly 200 residents, including those from Dhadmotha village.
