Thiruvananthapuram, Jan. 29 -- Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the fifth session of the Loka Kerala Sabha, a biennial assembly bringing together members of Kerala's global diaspora, at the Nishagandhi Auditorium here at 5 pm on Thursday.

More than 500 delegates are expected to participate from 125 countries and 28 Indian states, officials said.

The inaugural function will be presided over by Speaker of the Kerala Legislative Assembly A N.Shamseer, while Leader of the Opposition V D Satheesan will deliver the keynote address.
