Vijay's 'Jana Nayagan' film release suffer further delays, Madras HC Bench refers it back to Single Judge for fresh hearing

Chennai, Jan. 27 -- In a further setback to actor-politician and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam(TVK) Founder Vijay's swangson film "Jana Nayagan", the Madras High Court on Tuesdayreferred it back to the Single Judge Ms Justice P T Asha for a fresh hearing and directed herexpeditiously hear the plea.

Alllowing the appeal filed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) against the SingleJudge Order directig it to grant U/A certification for the film, the First Bench comprising ChiefJustice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava and Justice G Arun Murugan directed the productionuni tto file a revised and corrected petition and grant enough time for the CBFC to file its replyand putforth its arguments.
