Lucknow, Sept. 19 -- The Vigilance Establishment has registered an FIR against former officials of the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) in connection with irregularities in the allotment of plots under the Priyadarshini (Jankipuram) Scheme.
Among those named in the FIR is Ambi Bisht, former property officer and issuer of the LDA and mother-in-law of Prateek Yadav, younger son of Samajwadi Party founder and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, the late Mulayam Singh Yadav. Ambi Bisht is also the mother of Aparna Yadav, who currently serves as the Vice-Chairperson of the State Women's Commission.
