Pune, March 7 -- Eminent veterinarians, experts and progressive livestock farmers were honoured for their contributions to the animal husbandry and veterinary sector at a felicitation ceremony organised by Jyeshtha Pashuvaidya Pratishthan Maharashtra in Pune.
The programme was held at the Animal Husbandry Commissionerate hall in Aundh and was presided over by Maharashtra Legislative Council Deputy Chairperson and Shiv Sena leader Dr Neelam Gorhe.
Awards were presented in several categories to recognise excellence in veterinary services and livestock development.
