Dehra (Kangra), Jan. 14 -- A felicitation ceremony was organised at Lower Sunehat in Dehra on Wednesday to mark the 10th Armed Forces Veterans Day, under the aegis of the District Sainik Welfare Office, Kangra (Dharamshala).
Superintendent of Police, Dehra, Mayank Chaudhary, attended the programme as the chief guest. During the event, Deputy Director, Sainik Welfare Department Colonel Gopal Singh Guleria, along with Colonel Mohindra Singh Rana and Anjana Guleria, honoured senior veterans above 85 years of age, gallantry award recipients and Veer Naris.
Colonel Guleria also briefed the gathering about various welfare schemes and facilities being run by the Central and State governments for the benefit of ex-servicemen and their families.
