Pune, April 9 -- Konkanastha Parivar Pune President Sunil Nevrekars on Thursday announced that veteran wrestling mentor Buvaji Liman will be honoured with this year's Late Bhai Nevrekars Lifetime Achievement Award.
The award is presented annually by Konkanastha Parivar Pune to express gratitude towards senior personalities who have dedicated their lives to sports, education, and public service.
This year marks the ninth edition of the award.
Eighty-four-year-old Liman, associated with Maharashtriya Mandal Pune, Rashtriya Talim Sangh, and Mukund Vyayam Shala of Pune Vidyarthi Griha, has spent over five decades in the field of wrestling, mentoring several renowned wrestlers.
