Caracas, Jan. 3 -- Amid the unexpected US attacks in Venezuela, the Latin American nation's Vice President Delcy Rodriguez confirmed that the US forces had kidnapped President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, First Lady Cilia Flores.

"Faced with this brutal situation and this brutal attack, we do not know the whereabouts of President Nicolas Maduro and the First Lady, Cilia Flores," Rodriguez stated, confirming both military and civilian casualties in wake of the US bombings of civilian-military infrastructure in Caracas, and the nearby states including Miranda, Aragua, La Guaira, with some installations even targeted in Lara.
