Jammu, June 8 -- The Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA), Chairperson, Jammu, Sanjay Aggarwal, has said that vehicle retail has drastically dropped in the month of May in Jammu and Kashmir due to the geopolitical uncertainty.

"The Geopolitical tensions in various parts of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in sensitive border regions, have had a significant dampening effect on overall vehicle retail performance in May 2025," the FADA chairperson here told UNI on Sunday.

Expert in automobile dealing for decades, Aggarwal said, "Dealerships have reported reduced footfall, shorter business hours, and delays in test drives and deliveries caused by security checkpoints and logistical hurdles."
