Hyderabad, Feb. 23 -- Hyderabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar on Monday cautioned young women to remain vigilant against cheating and blackmail in the name of marriage and appealed to them to come forward without fear to lodge complaints with Hyderabad She Teams.
In a post on social media platform X, the Commissioner said strict legal action would be taken against those who deceive and harass women under the guise of love or arranged marriages. He noted that She Teams have recently received several complaints in which young women were first misled and later pressured for physical relations, followed by demands for additional dowry after engagement.
