Jammu, May 1 -- : Jammu and Kashmir is set to mark a historic milestone as the much-awaited Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express is set to begin its regular commercial service here from tomorrow.
The service was flagged off on April 30 by union Minister for Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw. The country's most modern train will now provide high-speed connectivity between the Jammu region and the Kashmir Valley, significantly transforming the travel experience.
"A wave of excitement has gripped passengers and the general public ahead of the train's first official journey. Reports indicate an unprecedented surge in ticket bookings as soon as reservations opened for the inaugural run," said the official PRO.
