Firozabad (UP), Oct. 24 -- A road accident occurred this night on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, narrowly sparing Uttar Pradesh's Minister for Women and Child Development, Nutrition, and Welfare, Baby Rani Maurya, from injury.
The incident took place near the 56 km milestone in the Naseerpur police station area of Firozabad district, when a truck's tyre burst while passing the minister's convoy.
The out-of-control truck collided with the minister's official vehicle, a Toyota Fortuner, which was badly damaged on the driver's side.
