Hyderabad, Feb. 1 -- Telangana Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Sunday directed round-the-clock operations on the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel project, making it clear that delays or negligence would not be tolerated and that the highest safety standards must be maintained.
Chairing a high-level review meeting on the SLBC tunnel and the rehabilitation of the Medigadda, Annaram and Sundilla barrages under the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project, the Minister said the government was committed to the timely completion of all critical irrigation infrastructure.
