Washington, April 2 -- US President Donald Trump said he would sign an order to ensure all employees of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are paid, even as lawmakers remain deadlocked over how to fully fund the agency amid the ongoing partial shutdown of Washington.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said he would "soon sign an order" covering all DHS personnel, though details on how the payments would be financed were not elaborated upon.
