Seoul/Washington, Oct. 29 -- US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that Washington has "pretty much finalised" a trade deal with South Korea, following talks with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung ahead of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.
"We had a tremendous meeting today with South Korea. A lot was determined," Trump said during a dinner with President Lee in Gyeongju.
The two leaders met privately for nearly two hours earlier in the day in an effort to resolve remaining issues in the long-discussed trade agreement, reports US media.
