Washington, May 2 -- The United States has deported 131 illegal immigrants from the Central Asian republics of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan in partnership with the government of Uzbekistan, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said in a press release.
"Today, the Department of Homeland Security, under Secretary [Kristi] Noem's leadership, partnered with the Government of Uzbekistan to successfully deport over 100 illegal aliens from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. This operation, in which Uzbekistan fully funded the deportation of their own nationals, underscores the deep security cooperation between our nations," the release said on Wednesday.
