UPSIFS has trained 300 trained "crime scene experts"

Lucknow, April 17 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a major step towards strengthening the state''s policing with technology and scientific investigation.

Under this initiative, the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science (UPSIFS) has trained 300 trained "crime scene experts." This is the third batch of 105 crime scene experts trained, following two previous batches.

Police personnel from various commissionerates and districts across the state completed a 42-day specialized "crime scene management" training, providing them with advanced training in cyber and forensic techniques.
