Ranchi, March 13 -- The 13th day of the budget session of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly witnessed uproar in the House over the rising prices and shortage of LPG cylinders.
As the proceedings began, members of the ruling side stood up and raised slogans against the Government of India, blaming it for the increasing fuel prices and supply issues.
Amid the noisy scenes, Assembly Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato intervened and asked members to proceed with the listed agenda of the House.
During the discussion, MLA Rajesh Kachhap raised concerns about pending land mutation cases, stating that many people who purchased land before December 2000 have still not been able to complete the mutation process.
