Saharanpur, March 23 -- In a shocking incident, a young woman was allegedly shot at point-blank range inside a community health centre in Saharanpur district today, despite being under police custody.
The incident took place at the Fatehpur Community Health Centre in the Chhutmalpur area, where the woman had been brought by police for a medical examination. After the procedure, officials were preparing to shift her to Saharanpur in a private vehicle. A sub-inspector and a female constable were present with her in the car at the time.
