Unnao/Etawah, Feb. 23 -- A mini tourist bus carrying students from Karnataka Monday met with an accident on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway near Baradev village in Unnao city of Uttar Pradesh.
The bus, carrying fourth-year BSc students from Horticulture College, Arabhavi, Belagavi district, was traveling from Agra to Ayodhya when it collided with another vehicle around 2:45 am under Auras police station limits.
According to preliminary reports, the driver allegedly dozed off, leading to the collision. There were 18 students onboard at the time of the accident. Twelve sustained injuries and were admitted to a Community Health Centre (CHC). Four students, in serious condition, were referred to Lucknow Trauma Centre for advanced treatment.
