Lucknow, March 23 -- A court today remanded to a five-day police custody Harish, a resident of Saharanpur, who was arrested for allegedly attempting to radicalize youths and incite them to carry out terror activities under the influence of proscribed ISIS.
The remand was approved by Special NIA Court Judge Jainendra Kumar Pandey. The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) will take Harish into custody from jail on Tuesday morning for detailed interrogation.
Harish was arrested on March 15 from Moradabad. A resident of the Qutub Sher area in Saharanpur, he was pursuing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at a dental college on Kanth Road in Moradabad.
