Mathura, March 19 -- President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Mathura today for a one-day visit, displaying deep devotion despite light rainfall and inclement weather.

During her visit, she offered prayers at prominent temples in Vrindavan and prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the nation.

The President's helicopter landed at the cantonment helipad in Mathura, where she was received by Governor Anandiben Patel. Several state officials and ministers were present to welcome her. After a ceremonial guard of honor, her convoy proceeded to a local hotel for a brief rest.
