Varanasi, April 22 -- The Municipal Corporation administration has become fully active in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's planned visit to Varanasi on April 28.

To ensure the city is clean and beautiful for the VIP's visit, the corporation has issued a high alert and prepared a special action plan for sanitation, lighting, and public amenities. Under this plan, a massive cleanliness drive will be launched in all wards for a week starting today, monitored directly by the Central Command.
