Varanasi, March 7 -- Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth, Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, today visited and worshipped at Ganga Mata, Gau Mata, Chintamani Ganesh Temple and Sankat Mochan Temple and thereafter launched his much-publicised "Gopratishtha Dharmayuddha Shankhnaad Yatra".
The Yatra will proceed with public meetings and overnight stays at various locations and will reach Lucknow on March 11.
Shankaracharya said that further plans will be announced upon arrival in Lucknow. A strong voice will be raised from there for the protection of the cow.
