Lucknow, Aug. 7 -- On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a special gift for the women of the state from tomorrow.
The state Urban Transport Directorate, under the Urban Development Department, will provide free travel on city buses for women and one accompanying passenger.
This facility will be available from 6:00 AM on August 8 to 12:00 AM on August 10.
The initiative aims to make the festival of Raksha Bandhan more joyous and inclusive.
