Bareilly, April 5 -- A devastating road accident in the CB Ganj police station area near Pardholi village claimed the lives of four people on the spot, while around eight others, including a child, were seriously injured.
The incident occurred when a speeding SUV rammed into a stationary tanker parked along the roadside on Sunday. The collision was so intense that the vehicle was completely mangled, and rescue teams had to cut through the wreckage to retrieve the victims.
According to initial reports, the injured were rushed to a nearby private hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Police reached the scene promptly, took custody of the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem examination.
