Hapur, April 4 -- Tension gripped Jhadeena village in Hapur district after the suspicious death of a 50-year-old farmer today.
Family members have alleged that Dharmendra was deliberately run over by a tractor as part of a conspiracy, triggering protests by villagers.
According to a complaint filed by Dharmendra's son Aman, the incident occurred when his father was returning home on a motorcycle. Two youths from the same village, allegedly driving a tractor from the opposite direction, collided with his bike. Dharmendra fell on the road and sustained critical injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
