Lucknow, April 4 -- A 50-year-old bank clerk tragically lost his life after an alleged accidental firearm discharge at his residence in the Janakipuram area of Lucknow today.
The deceased has been identified as Prakash Mishra, who was employed as a clerk with union Bank of India.
According to police, the incident occurred around 9 AM in the morning when Mishra was cleaning his licensed rifle at home. During the process, the weapon accidentally discharged. The bullet reportedly entered through his chin and exited from the top of his head, leading to his death on the spot.
