Barabanki, Jan. 26 -- A late-night armed robbery was reported at a fish farm in Mishripur village under the Jahangirabad police station area in Barabanki district.
More than half a dozen armed miscreants allegedly entered the farm and looted Rs 4.80 lakh in cash after holding the employees hostage, police revealed today.
According to police sources, the incident took place around 2 am on Monday when five employees were present at the farm. The criminals overpowered them, confined them in a room, and then fled with the cash kept in the office. One of the employees stated that the attackers threatened them at gunpoint and assaulted them with kicks and punches.
