Lucknow, March 14 -- The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has arrested a youth from Agra for allegedly cheating candidates in the name of the Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment examination.
The accused had created fake channels on Telegram and lured aspirants by claiming to provide leaked question papers in exchange for money.
An FIR (first information report) regarding the matter has been registered at the Hussainganj police station here in Lucknow on the complaint of the State Police Recruitment and Promotion Board.
