Lucknow, Feb. 6 -- Villages in Uttar Pradesh are now forging a new identity through innovation and cleanliness. Roads are being constructed using plastic waste, while door-to-door waste collection has been launched, and compost production for income generation is helping transform the rural landscape of the state.

In Lucknow, Rampur, Amethi, Lalitpur, and Etah districts, 75 kilometers of roads have been constructed using plastic waste, presenting a new model of development along with environmental protection.
