Lucknow, March 15 -- Acting against a gang accused of cheating candidates on the pretext of helping them pass the Sub-Inspector recruitment examination, the Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested another suspect, taking the total number of arrests in the case to five.

The STF's Meerut field unit arrested Anuj Kumar on Saturday night near Rajni Library in Shivpuri locality under the Raya police station area of Mathura district. He is a resident of Haveli village in the same police station area.

During the search, STF officials recovered a mobile phone, two admit cards of the Sub-Inspector recruitment examination, four admit cards of other competitive exams, eight WhatsApp chat records and a general knowledge book.
