Lucknow, April 20 -- The Uttar Pradesh government is now turning its attention to health tourism and at the heart of this new vision is a renewed emphasis on traditional systems of healing, especially Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH), official sources said here on Sunday.
Sources said that during an event held on February 23, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, "After religion, UP will also lead in health tourism. We must rediscover ancient healing traditions and time-tested remedies from our grandmothers. A healthy body is the foundation of true happiness."
