Raebareli, Sept. 10 -- Uttar Pradesh Minister and senior BJP leader Dinesh Pratap Singh has written a formal letter to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda, raising serious allegations against the Raebareli police. The letter accuses local law enforcement of misconduct and undue favoritism during Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's visit to Raebareli.

According to Singh, the police diverted traffic across a 70-kilometer stretch and forcibly removed small vendors, including roadside hawkers, in anticipation of Rahul Gandhi's convoy. The minister criticized what he described as excessive hospitality shown by the police towards the Congress leader.
