Lucknow, Feb. 28 -- The Uttar Pradesh unit of the BJP will soon complete organizational changes at the grassroots level by appointing the remaining five district presidents and over 80 Mandal presidents to strengthen its preparations for next year's assembly elections.
Party sources said on Saturday that state president Pankaj Chaudhary and state general secretary (organization) Dharampal Singh have finalized the names of the remaining district presidents pending approval from the central leadership.
Following this, district-level committees will be formed, the main organizational body that promotes the party's outreach to the public at the grassroots level.
