Lucknow, July 16 -- To make disaster management in the state more effective, coordinated, scientific, and stronger, a significant Memorandum of Association (MoA) was signed between the Relief Commissioner's Office of Uttar Pradesh and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the presence of the Chief Minister here today.
This agreement marks a new beginning for implementing disaster risk reduction programs, strengthening the state's institutional capacity, and developing a multi-level disaster management system based on a technical approach.
