Kyiv, Feb. 2 -- Unverified Starlink terminals operating on Ukrainian territory will be disconnected, Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said on Monday.

"Unverified Starlink terminals will be disabled," Fedorov wrote on Telegram, commenting on the Starlink satellite communication system's functioning in Ukraine.

On January 29, Fedorov said that the Ukrainian Defense Ministry and SpaceX had started "working on a solution" to use the Starlink satellite network on the front lines, allegedly to counter Russian drones. Fedorov thanked US entrepreneur Elon Musk on social media for SpaceX's efforts to help find a solution.

Starlink is a satellite network of Musk's SpaceX, designed to provide global broadband coverage.
