Hyderabad, July 13 -- Union Minister G Kishan Reddy expressed deep sorrow over the passing of veteran actor, former MLA, and senior BJP leader Kota Srinivasa Rao, calling it a great loss to the Telugu film industry and society at large.
Recalling his close association with the Padma Shri awardee, Kishan Reddy said, "Kota garu was not only a versatile actor but also a person with a profound understanding of societal issues. He worked tirelessly to promote Sanatana Dharma, social values, and language preservation among the youth."
He noted Kota's impactful four-decade-long film career spanning over 750 films and his public service as Vijayawada East MLA in 1999.
