Guwahati, Jan. 19 -- union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal has lodged an FIR over alleged misuse of his official letterhead and signature with malafide intent to create political disharmony in the election-bound state.
Sonowal said that a forged letter bearing the official letterhead and fake signature of him was circulated on social media to create mistrust and spread blatant falsehood towards nefaricious political ends and urged the investigating authority to take appropriate action.
